Published on the occasion of Hreinn Friðfinnsson's solo exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery, London, 7 July – 2 September 2007, curated by Kitty Scott. Spanning works from 1964 to 2007, the exhibition offered the most comprehensive survey of Friðfinnsson's practice to date in the United Kingdom, bringing together photography, text, installation and sculptural works across four decades. The catalogue includes essays by Kitty Scott and Snorri Sigfús Birgisson, and an interview between the artist and Hans Ulrich Obrist, alongside a text by Ólafur Elíasson. The exhibition subsequently travelled to Hafnarhús – Reykjavik Art Museum, Malmö Konsthall and Bergen Kunstmuseum.
