Galerie Bama, Paris
Founded in the early 1970s by Ninon Robelin and co-directed from 1976 by Claudine Papillon, Galerie Bama was a leading Parisian platform for Fluxus and international avant-garde art, presenting among others Joseph Beuys, Sigmar Polke, Dieter Roth, Dorothy Iannone, Robert Filliou, and Marcel Broodthaers. Hreinn Friðfinnsson first exhibited there in a group show in March 1977, followed by a solo in October 1979.
