A place of failure and dissapointment

A place of hope and expectation

A work consisting of two photographs of the same place which is my living room and workplace. The first one is taken when I am rather unhappy with the situation or what I had been working on. So I decided to photograph the place and leave the flat in that state of mind. I go for a walk until my state of mind changes, until I’m looking forward to coming back and continuing with the work. I turn back and photograph the place again. In a symbolic way it has become a different place because my attitude towards it has changed.
